The 75-member Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO), led by Music Director Carmon DeLeone, is the largest performing arts organization in the Chicago Southland and the 2010 Illinois Council of Orchestra’s “Professional Orchestra of the Year.” Now in its 33rd Season, the IPO provides professional, orchestral music of beauty and excellence to the region and draws audiences from over 68 south and southwest suburbs including Chicago, Indiana and Michigan. From November to May, it performs at the 900-seat Lincoln-Way North Performing Arts Center in Frankfort, Illinois.
